Meet The Angels!!!

Brian and Mike Sullivan are baby boomer brothers whom have retired from corporate America to pursue their passion passed to them from their mother, respectful, compassionate care for the elderly. Their mother Helen volunteered in a hospice until she was no longer mobile and couldn't get around. Due to their frustrating and emotionally draining experience while attempting to take care of her in her final days they know how hard it can be to do the right thing for one's beloved parents. The rising costs of nursing homecare and depleted retirement funds, has created an urgent need for in-home elderly care.

"The elderly is the fastest growing segment of the American population. At the same time, working families have less time to spend caring for aging parents, which has created a real crisis in America," says Brian. "Visiting Angels solves that problem providing non-medical senior care in the home of either the elderly client or the family whom cares for the person. In that respect, we do serve as angels, helping with basic chores, personal hygiene, meal preparation, shopping, companionship and providing a respite for family caregivers."

 

Mike says, "If we knew Visiting Angels was available to help our Mom keep her independence and allow her to stay in her home of forty years, she would have had a caregiver as soon as we could have called "Visiting Angels"

Phylosophy

Mike and Brian have the philosophy that they are in business to provide the best care possible for their clients as well as total respect and appreciation to the care giving staff. "These caregivers are a special kind of people. I never cease to be impressed with their hearts and dedication!!" says Mike. "We make it a point to check in with both care recipient and caregiver to make sure that things are on the right track." Brian summarizes, "It's all about relationship building, truly caring, letting the client choose their caregiver, and open door communication.
